StackBob Joins SailPoint Technology Alliance Program

StackBob has joined the SailPoint Technology Alliance Program (TAP) by completing their platform certification for SailPoint Human Fabric (SHF). With the completed certification, SailPoint customers can now leverage the certified integration to onboard any application, regardless of SCIM and API support, to their existing SailPoint instance using the OOTB connector. With the StackBob per user licensing, customers can onboard all their applications quickly and efficiently to their SHF instance without the need for custom connectors, manual workflows, etc.

What happened

The certification process involved verifying that StackBob's Identity Connectivity Layer could seamlessly integrate with SailPoint Human Fabric (SHF) without requiring custom connectors or manual workflows.

Customers looking to add StackBob's integration to their SailPoint instance can now do so with the certified connector. Instructions on the integration can be found at SailPoint Integration Instructions

Why it matters

One of the largest challenges with Identity Governance is the complexity of managing and maintaining identity information across different systems and platforms. The certification of StackBob's integration with SailPoint Human Fabric (SHF) addresses this challenge by providing a seamless way to onboard applications and manage identities consistently.

This allows SailPoint customers to have consistent pricing for their entire application estate given the unlimited application model provided by StackBob. This moves from the traditional disconnected and manual fulfillment application to a full connected application estate for users and groups.

What to check in your environment

  • Inventory every application in your environment to see what is in-scope for compliance or not to onboard to StackBob
  • Onboard applications to StackBob to allow applications to be learned and staged in the StackBob platform.
  • Add applications to SailPoint using the provided instructions and aggregate users and groups
