What happened
StackBob has released their browser-based application recorder which allows users to record application functionality in as little at 15 minutes and submit it for connector development. With this release, StackBob customers can perform more self-service onboarding to accelerate application onboarding.
With this new functionality, as applications are recorded, they can be submitted for onboarding. The recordings are used in the application learning process developed by StackBob and builds their No-Code Autonomous Provisioning (NCAP) based connectors.
Why it matters
Disconnected applications are a persistent challenge in the identity governance and administration space. This recording allows for application owners, not developers, to record intended functionality and direct submit applications to be onboarded. This reduces the burden of onboarding allowing core IGA administrators to focus on platform capability while increasing application visibility.
